About

eudaemonia florals began as a healing outlet during the difficult last two years I worked as an educator. When my teaching career came to an unexpected close in Spring 2022, I found myself looking for the opportunity to improve my quality of life - specifically, to flourish outside of my identity as a teacher. It was during the weeks that followed the end to my teaching career that what began as a hobby and outlet had now become a pursuit for eudaemonia.

With the partnership of my husband, what was once a typical Logan Square backyard of concrete slab and yellowing crab grass, our micro-flower farm now holds hundreds (sometimes thousands!) of fresh flowers from April through October. Our farm values sustainability and care of both native and non-native pollinators, and we support these values by growing flowers for our community.

Through our flowers, we hope to educate our community about the importance of supporting local cut flowers as a small way to decrease our carbon footprints and show care for our one Earth. We believe in order to flourish as a human, we must commit to the care for all living things.
